Job Summary
Our client is in need of a young dynamic HR Manager (Male due to the industry) at our offices outside Durbanville. The group consists of 5 companies with 4 sites and about 270 staff. You will be reporting to the MD but will work mostly independently.
Some of the key responsibilities:
- Recruitment, Selection to On-boarding (the total lifecycle)
- Policies, Procedures and Legal Compliance – improve, implement and maintain
- Performance Management (KPA’s)
- Facilitating training and development
- Employee relations – strategic link between management and employee
- Share the employer’s vision and strategies to execute that vision
- Manage: Absenteeism, hearings, performance enquiries, job descriptions, organograms, training, etc.
- Involved with time sheet approval, SDL, H4M, provident fund claims, etc.
Other essential requirements:
- Well organised and adaptable
- Good communication skills: verbally, telephonically or via e-mail
- Matric with the necessary diploma or degree
- At least 10 years’ proven experience in the above responsibilities
- Speak and write Afrikaans & English fluently
- With your work ethic and sober habits, you will fit this team
- Excellent management skills, problem solver and be very diplomatic
- Very strong administrative skills
