Contract: Initial 2-Year Contract (Renewable)

Role Overview
An established and growing construction operation is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of multiple residential and commercial construction projects. This is a senior, hands-on role requiring strong commercial acumen, decisive leadership, and end-to-end project delivery capability.
The Project Manager will assume full responsibility for programme execution, cost control, quality assurance, and coordination of all internal and external stakeholders from project inception through to final handover.

Key Responsibilities
- Overall planning, coordination, and delivery of multiple residential and commercial construction projects
- Full ownership of project programmes, schedules, and milestones
- Budget management, cost control, procurement planning, and cashflow oversight
- Management of contracts, variations, claims, and subcontractor performance
- Coordination and leadership of Site Managers, consultants, contractors, and specialist teams
- Liaison with architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, and statutory authorities
- Ensuring full compliance with local statutory regulations, health & safety standards, and quality requirements
- Preparation of detailed progress reports and direct reporting to Directors
- Proactive risk identification and mitigation across projects
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, delivery timelines, and financial discipline
Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Project Management
- Minimum 10 years’ proven experience delivering residential and/or commercial construction projects
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects concurrently
- Strong financial, contractual, and commercial management capability
- Proven leadership ability with experience managing multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to operate autonomously with clear decision-making authority
- Prior experience working outside South Africa or elsewhere in Africa is highly advantageous

Remuneration & Benefits
- Salary (Net): ZAR 65,000 – 75,000 per month (Negotiable)
- Initial 2-Year Contract, renewable based on performance and project pipeline
