Midvaal Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established company in the civil and construction industry. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter with strong technical ability to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of carpentry work on civil and construction sites
- Accurately read and interpret technical drawings and plans
- Work with RTcat software for project-related tasks and measurements
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures
- Execute formwork, shuttering, and structural carpentry
- Ensure work is completed to quality and safety standards
- Collaborate with site teams and supervisors
- Travel to various project sites as required
Minimum Requirements:
- 5–10 years’ proven experience as a Carpenter in a construction/civil environment
- Solid experience in reading and interpreting drawings
- Working knowledge of RTcat software (essential)
- Relevant trade qualification (advantageous)
- Valid driver’s licence
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Physically fit and able to work on-site
