Job Summary
Description:Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Mine Engineer to join their mining company based in North-West. You will be responsible for leading engineering, maintenance and operational improvement activities to ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective production while maintaining compliance with statutory and operational requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support to ensure safe, reliable and cost-effective mining and processing operations.
- Monitor and optimise plant, equipment and production performance to maximise operational efficiency and minimise downtime.
- Manage maintenance activities, asset reliability programmes and engineering projects within the area of responsibility.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, equipment performance and operational effectiveness.
- Develop and manage operational budgets, cost controls and resource utilisation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards, statutory requirements and engineering best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations and continuous improvement initiatives to support a safe working environment.
- Manage contractors, service providers and operational teams to ensure effective execution of engineering activities.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance and support departments to achieve operational targets and business objectives.
- Prepare and present technical, operational and performance reports to management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- GCC Mines & Works
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an Engineer within the mining industry
- Experience in plant maintenance and Project management
- Valid Driver's License
Benefits:
- Salary: R1.2Mil - R1.8Mil P/A
