Job Summary
Description:Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Artisan Fitter to join their mining company based in Mpumalanga. You will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance, repairs and installation work on mechanical equipment, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment in accordance with maintenance schedules and work instructions.
- Perform installation, servicing and maintenance activities as required.
- Prioritise and complete assigned maintenance tasks within the required timeframes and standards.
- Accurately record completed maintenance work, equipment history and relevant job details.
- Identify equipment defects, faults and maintenance requirements and provide feedback to the relevant supervisor.
- Make recommendations regarding additional maintenance or repairs required to restore equipment to a safe and reliable operating condition.
- Ensure that all maintenance work is completed in line with safety procedures, technical standards and documented work instructions.
- Identify and request the necessary consumables, components and spare parts required to complete maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Fitter Trade Test Certificate
- N3 Certificate in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years’ post-trade experience as a Fitter within the mining or industrial plant environment
- Valid Driver's License
Benefits:
- Salary: R450K - R480K P/A
