Job Summary
Key Responsibilities: • Plan, supervise and execute mechanical projects according to API specifications and project requirements. • Supervise tank repairs, piping fabrication/installation and structural works. • Interpret engineering and isometric drawings (ISOs). • Coordinate site teams, labour, materials, equipment and resources. • Conduct and oversee hydro-testing of process piping. • Ensure compliance with H&S requirements, including confined spaces and working at heights. • Monitor project progress, quality and completion within required timeframes. • Complete daily diaries and internal, weekly and monthly client reports. • Liaise with clients, management and project teams. Requirements & Experience: • Proven mechanical supervision experience in petroleum storage tanks, piping, fuel/oil terminals, petrochemical, mining and/or construction. • Knowledge of API specifications, drawings/ISOs, hydro-testing, tank sandblasting and corrosion protection. • Total Energies and Engen experience advantageous. • Strong OHS knowledge, including confined spaces and working at heights. • Excellent leadership, communication, planning and reporting skills. • 100% computer literate. • Willing to travel and work away from home for extended periods. • Own reliable transport. • Own reliable laptop with valid Microsoft Office licence. • Criminal Record Check required with application.Error!
