An established and growing construction company is seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee residential and commercial building projects from inception through to completion. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Requirements
5–10 years' experience managing residential and commercial construction sites
Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Building Science, Civil Engineering or similar (advantageous)
Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Sound knowledge of SANS, NHBRC, OHS, and construction regulations
Strong leadership, planning, and organisational skills
Stable employment history with contactable references
Duties
Manage daily site operations from site establishment through to project handover
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and labour teams
Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met
Ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and quality standards
Conduct site inspections and resolve defects promptly
Manage labour, materials, plant, and equipment efficiently
Maintain accurate site documentation, safety files, and progress reports
Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and municipal officials.
