Holobye Trading 2 (Pty) Ltd is looking for Horticultural Specialist (Project Manager) REQUIREMENTS: * Matric Certificate *National Diploma or Higher in Horticulture / Landscaping * Minimum 3 years working experience in the same field DUTIES: *Plant Care & Maintenance: Pruning, trimming, weeding, watering, and fertilizing trees, shrubs, and ornamental plants. *Propagation & Cultivation: Handling seeds, cuttings, and grafting to cultivate new plant stock. *Disease & Pest Management: Identifying, diagnosing, and treating plant diseases or infestations using chemical or organic methods. *Soil & Environmental Control: Testing soil pH, nutrient levels, and drainage to optimize growth conditions. *Landscape Design & Installation: Designing and implementing planting plans for parks, gardens, or greenhouses to maximize aesthetic appeal. *Research & Technical Advice: Conducting research on plant growth cycles, genetics, or new varieties, and providing expert consultation on horticulture techniques. *Operational Management: Operating machinery, managing inventory, maintaining irrigation systems, and supervising work crews or volunteers KEY SKILLS *Scientific Knowledge: Understanding plant physiology, soil science, and botany. *Technical Skill: Experience with agricultural equipment and tools.
