Holobye Trading 2 (Pty) Ltd is looking for CABLE JOINTERS X3 QUALIFICATIONS: * 6.6kV and above cable jointing certificates * Valid Code 10 (C1) Driver's License * RSA Identity DUTIES: * Cable Jointing & Termination: Jointing, terminating, and splicing various cable types (MV, HV, fiber optic, or telecom) using techniques like cold shrink, heat shrink, or resin. * Installation & Maintenance: Installing, testing, and maintaining underground power cables, often in trenches. * Fault Finding & Repair: Diagnosing, locating, and repairing cable faults in electrical networks. * Testing & Compliance: Performing insulation resistance, continuity, and sheath testing, along with adhering to strict safety standards (e.g., LOTO - Lockout/Tag-out). * Documentation: Preparing daily reports, keeping records of cable work, and updating network diagrams. * Site Safety: Ensuring safety on site by managing excavation, erecting, signing, lighting, and guarding. * Interpretation: Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematic diagrams, and cable schedules.
