Seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Accountant to join a company based in East London

Key Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:Manage the full accounting function, including oversight of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll.
Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Maintain the general ledger, including reconciliations and month-end processes.
Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including VAT, tax, and related submissions.
Assist the Finance Manager with financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and ad hoc projects.
Liaise with external auditors and provide supporting schedules and documentation during audit processes.
Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of financial records.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial controls and processes.
Minimum RequirementsMatric (Grade 12).
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
Completed articles at a recognised accounting firm (essential).
Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
