Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting quality control tests on raw material and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Education & Experience:
- Matric/ Grade 12
- Certification/ Tertiary (advantageous)
- 3 years’ experience in a laboratory and brick manufacturing environment
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
- Brick manufacturing background
- Capable of communicating findings, informing and documenting information
- Perform laboratory test on clay and finessed goods
- Monitor product quality and report any defects and inconstancies
- Record and analyse test results accurately
- Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and cleanliness
- Work closely with production staff to improve product quality
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Competencies:
- Willingness to work in a production environment
- High level of accuracy and reliability
- Willing to work on weekends and public holidays
- Ability to work independently and in a team
