Health & Safety Manager
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Health & Safety Manager to lead, implement, and continuously improve health and safety standards across the organisation. This role is critical in ensuring full legislative compliance while promoting a strong safety-first culture.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and continuously improve health and safety policies, procedures, and systems
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, regulations, and codes of practice
Advise senior management on health and safety matters and legal obligations
Promote and drive a positive health and safety culture across all levels of the organisation
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety tours
Maintain accurate health and safety records, reports, and documentation
Maintain employee medical and occupational health records
Identify health and safety training needs and coordinate relevant training initiatives
Conduct employee health and safety inductions on site
Requirements
A recognized Health and Safety qualification (essential)
3–5 years’ experience in a health and safety role
Construction industry experience will be highly advantageous
Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance requirements
Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to work independently and influence safety practices across teams
