Job Summary
Description: Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Mine Manager (Underground) to join their mining company in North-West. You will be responsible for leading underground mining operations to deliver safe, efficient and sustainable production while driving operational performance, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement. Responsibilities: - Lead and manage underground mining operations to achieve safe, efficient and sustainable production. - Develop and implement operational strategies, production plans and performance objectives aligned with business requirements. - Drive compliance with applicable health, safety, environmental and mining legislation. - Manage mining contractors, operational teams and resources to achieve production and business targets. - Monitor and optimise production performance, equipment utilisation and operational efficiencies. - Coordinate with technical and engineering teams to support effective mine planning and operational performance. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, safety and cost effectiveness. - Manage operational budgets, resources and business risks in line with organisational objectives. - Develop and implement operational policies, procedures and governance standards. Requirements: - Grade 12 - Degree in Mining Engineering - Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency - Valid Blasting Certificate for Scheduled Mines - Minimum 10 years' experience within an underground mining environment - Minimum 5 years' experience as a Mine Manager - Valid Driver's License Benefits: Salary: Negotiable Paid Time Off (PTO) (If Applicable) Contact Hire Resolve today for your next career-changing move.
