SITE ENGINEER
ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a Site Engineer to lead our facilities, maintenance, utilities and site services functions.
In this role, you will ensure equipment reliability, operational uptime and a safe, compliant work environment, while driving maintenance systems and engineering improvement initiatives across the site.
You will play a critical role in supporting automation, managing infrastructure, and delivering technical projects that enable efficient and scalable operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Lead all equipment maintenance and reliability initiatives
- Implement preventive and planned maintenance systems
- Manage machine breakdowns and root cause problem solving
- Support automation, PLC systems and production technology
- Oversee site utilities (electrical, HVAC, compressed air, water systems)
- Manage facilities, infrastructure and contractor services
- Ensure site compliance with safety, GMP and operational standards
- Oversee site services (security, cleaning, waste, pest control)
- Lead engineering and continuous improvement projects
- Support equipment installation, commissioning and optimisation
- Implement and manage CMMS / maintenance systems
- Develop maintenance KPIs and reporting systems

You are proactive, solutions-driven and comfortable working across mechanical, electrical and automation systems. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of site performance and reliability.
You are detail-oriented, structured and able to lead projects while collaborating across teams and external partners.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong experience with automated equipment and systems
- Experience with PLCs, sensors, drives and control systems
- Experience implementing maintenance systems
- Experience managing technical projects and contractors
- FMCG / cosmetics / pharmaceutical experience advantageous
KNOWLEDGE
- PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Mechanical and electrical fault finding
- Preventive and planned maintenance systems
- Facilities and utilities management
- Root cause analysis and continuous improvement
- Technical documentation and SOP development
- Maintenance KPIs and reporting systems

- Degree in Mechatronic Engineering or related field
- Exposure to automation and industrial systems
- Strong project management capability
