Midvaal Recruitment is seeking a well-connected Independent Sales Consultant on behalf of a client in the precision engineering and manufacturing sector.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced sales professional, business developer, mining supplier, engineering specialist, or industry veteran with established relationships within South Africa's mining and minerals processing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Introduce engineering, machining, fabrication, refurbishment, and maintenance solutions to mining operations.
- Facilitate introductions to key decision-makers.
- Assist with supplier onboarding and vendor registration processes.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong network within mining and minerals processing operations.
- Background in technical sales, engineering services, fabrication, machining, maintenance contracting, or industrial supply.
- Proven ability to open doors and generate commercial opportunities.
- Existing relationships with procurement, maintenance, engineering, and operational personnel.
