Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Site and Plant Operations Supervisor to manage daily operations at a 30 TPH small-scale gold mining plant. The role includes overseeing plant performance, supervising site activities, ensuring safety compliance, and leading a local workforce in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise gold processing plant operations (crushing, milling, gravity recovery).
- Ensure consistent throughput and equipment functionality.
- Manage site logistics, ore feed, tailings, and water usage.
- Lead, train, and manage local staff and shift teams.
- Enforce site safety and security protocols.
- Maintain production records and report on plant performance.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in mining or plant operations.
- Strong practical knowledge of gravity-based recovery systems.
- Proven leadership in remote or small-scale operations.
- Mechanical troubleshooting ability.
- Fluent in English. French or Swahili speaking will be an advantage.
Rotation: Site-based with scheduled rotations.
Accommodation: Full board and lodging provided.
