Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor.
Requirements:
- Must have a strong construction background.
- Must have a valid South African passport
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must have Candy and experience – essential
- Buildsmart experience
- BTech Quantity Surveying or BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying, or BSc/BTech in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management.
- 5+ years’ experience on construction projects or in the Mechanical and Electrical Industry.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and reporting on project budget allowances.
- Identifying and pricing of compensation events or variation order.
- Responsible for Cost Administration.
- Monthly project management
- Turnkey Projects - Bill of Quantities development
- Management of subcontracts
