Seeking a well-experienced Asphalt Plant Manager to oversee and drive the efficient operation of our asphalt production facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of plant performance, including production planning, maintenance scheduling, equipment reliability, and compliance with safety and quality standards. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring optimal output, minimal downtime, and continuous improvement of plant processes. KEY RESPONSIBILITY Responsible for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of an asphalt plant, ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently met. Duties include planning and controlling daily production, monitoring mix quality, and overseeing maintenance to minimise downtime and optimise equipment performance. Ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including bitumen handling and emissions control. Supervises plant staff, manages shifts, and promotes productivity through training and leadership. Also responsible for inventory control, procurement, budgeting, cost management, reporting, and tracking key performance indicators such as output and downtime. REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate holds an Engineering qualification (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial) or has extensive asphalt/bitumen plant experience, with 5–10+ years in heavy industrial or plant operations.
