Our Client, a prominent name in the Manufacturing Industry, is seeking to employ 2x Tool Maker's, to their team based in Uitenhage.

Requirements:

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments.
Good computer literacy.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Flexible and willing to work shifts and overtime when required.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Sound understanding of manufacturing and machining principles.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as within a team environment.

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

Maintain, repair, and service bumper tools used in production.
Set up and operate conventional lathes, milling machines, and surface grinders.
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and CAD files for tooling components.
Conduct measurements and inspections using precision instruments, including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and CMMs.
Troubleshoot tooling issues and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve problems.
Collaborate with design, production, and maintenance teams to ensure tooling meets production requirements.
Modify tooling to improve efficiency and support design enhancements.
Maintain accurate records of tool maintenance and usage.
Adhere to safety procedures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
