Our Client in the Automotive Industry is seeking to employ an Auto Electrician / Auto Diagnostic Technician to their team based in Port Elizabeth.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Auto Electrician with a focus on diagnostics and error code clearing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Valid Driver’s Licence (Code 8 or higher).
- Proficient in using smartphones, tablets, and laptops for diagnostics and reporting.
- Willingness to travel when required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Formal motor trade qualification or certification advantageous but not mandatory.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Perform vehicle electrical diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs.
- Identify, clear, and resolve vehicle error codes using diagnostic tools and software.
- Engage with clients professionally during on-site assessments or service visits.
- Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records using digital tools.
- Support operational needs, including travel to client sites as required.
- Ensure all work is completed with precision, safety, and attention to detail.
