Job Summary
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and drawing up artwork for print production
- Nesting artwork to maximise material usage and reduce waste
- Setting up cut files for production
- Checking artwork for accuracy before printing or cutting
- Assisting with print layouts and production preparation
- Working closely with the printing and production team
- Operating flatbed printers when required, with training provided
- Ensuring that artwork files are correctly prepared, saved and organised
Requirements:
- Good working knowledge and experience using CorelDRAW
- Basic understanding of print-ready artwork and production files
- Strong attention to detail
- Computer literate and comfortable working with design software
- Willingness to learn print machinery and production processes
- Able to follow instructions and work accurately under deadlines
- Reliable, practical and eager to grow within a printing/production environment
- Previous experience in a printing, signage, manufacturing or production environment will be advantageous, but the company is open to considering a junior candidate with the right attitude and CorelDRAW skills.
