Job Summary
Our Client in the HVAC Industry is seeking to employ a Refrigeration Technician to their team based in Port Elizabeth.
Requirements

Red Seal qualified Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician.

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the refrigeration and air conditioning trade.

Proven ability to work under pressure and after hours when required.

Must be of sober habits.

Strong communication skills with customers and suppliers.
-
Supervisory or management experience will be advantageous.
-
Must have own hand tools.
-
Safe Handling qualification will be an advantage but is not essential.

Valid driver’s licence (implied due to company vehicle use).
Responsibilities
-
Installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

Diagnosing faults and performing repairs efficiently and accurately.

Providing professional service and clear communication to customers.

Liaising with suppliers regarding parts and equipment.

Working after hours and responding to breakdowns when required.
-
Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety standards and company procedures.

Assisting with supervision and guidance of junior staff when required.

Maintaining company vehicle and tools responsibly.
