We are looking for a Fibre Planner to join our team in the Southern Suburbs of JHB. As a Fibre Planner, you will be responsible for capacity planning within the Information Technology sector. This role requires 4-6 years of experience in the field and a Diploma qualification
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Plan and design fibre networks
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient network capacity
- Conduct periodic audits and assessments
- Provide technical support and guidance
- Plan and design OSP fiber routes for existing builds, upgrades or expansions
- Ensure designs follow engineering standards.
- Prepare design files and construction ready documentation.
- Identify environmental and physical constraints.
- Adhere to customers quality standards and project specifications.
- Provide technical support during build phases and address design related
queries. - Validate as-built data and update network records after construction.
