Trailer Technician, Port Elizabeth, R12 500 ctc

· Trade Tested Trailer or Truck Technician, or an equivalent qualification.
· Minimum 3 years’ experience working on trailers.
· Good knowledge of air brakes, suspension, axles and electrical systems.
· Ability to diagnose and repair faults independently.
· Valid driver’s licence; Code C/EC will be an advantage.
· Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Inspect, diagnose and repair trailers.
· Maintain and repair braking systems, suspension, axles, electrical and air systems.
· Perform routine maintenance and servicing.
· Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
· Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
· Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
· Assist with workshop repairs and breakdowns.
