Location: Lusaka, Zambia Salary: Attractive USD-based package offered (commensurate with experience) About the Role We are seeking a skilled and qualified Vehicle Mechatronics Technician to join established automotive operation in Lusaka. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining advanced vehicle electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems across a variety of vehicle types. This role is ideal for a technician with strong experience in modern vehicle diagnostics, electronic systems, engine management, and integrated vehicle technologies. Key Responsibilities • Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical, electronic, and mechanical faults • Perform advanced diagnostics on: o Engine management systems o ECU systems o ABS, SRS, and traction control systems o CAN Bus communication systems o Sensors, actuators, and control modules • Conduct vehicle fault finding using OEM and aftermarket diagnostic tools • Perform software updates, coding, and calibration where required • Troubleshoot diesel and petrol vehicle systems • Assist with wiring repairs, electrical installations, and component replacements • Ensure accurate technical reporting and job documentation • Maintain workshop quality standards and efficiency targets Minimum Requirements • Qualification in: o Vehicle Mechatronics o Automotive Electronics o Auto Electrical Technology o Motor Mechanics with strong diagnostics experience • Proven experience as a vehicle mechatronics engineer.Error!
