Requirements

Essential:

Senior Full Stack Developer

We are working with the Director of a newly formed digital insurer who are part of a JSE listed entity. They are in the process of innovating and building new products for more digitally minded individuals and have a very entrepreneurial environment.

They have come to market for a full stack developer that has had experience with working with bots. You will also be exposed to AI and Machine Learning modules.

Full Stack Developer Requirements:

• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and Amber.
• Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, and .Net.

Location: Remote; Company has offices in JHB, CT and Pretoria and the incumbent can also utilise these offices if they would prefer to go into an office.

Overview:

This is a critical role in a very fast paced organization, serving many hi tech retail stores throughout South Africa. The margins for error are very small and therefore there is a great deal resting on the individual in this position. Very effective management of processes and people is going to be essential in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage Operations Teams including:
  • Telesales
  • Procurement
  • Forward Logistics
  • Reverse Logistics
  • Repairs Division
• Put in place SLA’s and KPI’s to achieve operational requirements set out by the organisation
• Be able to execute quickly and move resources to achieve ad hoc short term requirements
• Build a world class team (looking after global technology and consumer brands)
• Manage stock at all stages of the process
• Manage 3rd party warehouse
• Manage both Freight Forwarders and Local Logistics Partners
• Monthly billing for both Warehouse and Courier Partners
• Demonstrated strong ability to lead daily operations and work on multiple initiatives, at the same time in an FMCG environment

Qualifications and Experience required:

• Degree or Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management preferred
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing Operations Team
• SAP Business One experience
• Advanced Computer literacy skills

Shift Leader (Technical) needed in Cape Town

Requirements:

Grade 12
Completion of a Computer Literacy and/or Technical Course

2 -3 years related experience
SQL, TSQL, SHELL Scripting, MSSQL advantageous
Windows server experience advantageous
