1. Ensure that repair maintenance is carried out and all mechanical presses and hydraulic installations are
maintained as per manufacturers standards.
2. Planning to schedule, reporting, inspection and repairing is carried out.
3. Perform all relevant statutory checks as required.
4. Improve versatility, problemsolving and troubleshooting on all equipment.
5. Able to mentor apprentices.
• Minimum qualifications: Grade 12 / N3 & Trade certificate

Fitter - Sawmill - Barberton Area
Our client is looking for an qualified fitter with at least 5 years sawmill fitting experience.
Must have traceable reference from sawmill

Grade 12, N2 Certificate, Qualified Fitter Trade Certificate through a recognised institution and apprenticeship**, 3 years post Apprenticeship/Qualification experience as a Fitter, Valid Drivers’ License.
** Candidates holding a QCTO (Section 26D) Trade Test, where the learning route is not specified on the Certificate, must submit the following: Statement of results issued by an accredited MQA trade test centre as well as evidence of training conducted at a technical training centre (e.g. Portfolio of Evidence, Logbooks). Should these documents not be submitted, the application will not be considered. Candidates holding S28 Trade Test certificates from non-Mining Sector centres will not be considered.
