Job Summary

We are looking for a professional Tile layers. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: -Read tile drawings to determine location and pattern for tile floors and walls -Clean and level the area of surface to be tiled -Measure and cut tile as required for correct fit on the surface to be tiled -Prepare and apply mortar to surface to be tiled -Install tile according to tile shop drawings in the prepared area -Instruct and work with the Tile Finisher assisting with preparing surfaces for tile for installation, setting up areas to be tiled, unboxing/mixing tile and grouting -Inspect finished project for quality and cleanliness Desired Skills & Experience: -Competent with use of power wet saws, drills, trowels and all other tools of the trade -Knowledge of tile setting materials and accessories such as thin set mortar, waterproofing membranes, leveling compounds and metal trim pieces -Experience with the installation of many different tile shapes, sizes and patterns -Ability to read drawings and layout tile installation as specified -Understanding of the industry standards required to be met for a quality tile installation -Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills -Accurate in work product with attention to detail -Positive attitude in performing job functions as a team member -Respectful and courteous to everyone at all times Send CV to birthmarkconstruction@gmail.com 072 807 6705
