Job Summary
Duties:
Test water for pH, chlorine, alkalinity, and calcium hardness, adding the necessary chemicals to maintain proper balance.
Skim debris, vacuum pool surfaces, scrub tiles, and empty skimmer baskets.
Troubleshoot, repair, and install pool pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and valves.
Fix pipe leaks, replace underwater light fittings, and patch minor cracks.
Log chemical readings, treatments, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Address client queries, provide maintenance advice, and resolve pool-related complaints
Requirements
Certified Pool & Spa Operator or Aquatic Facility Operator certification will be an advantage.
Strong mechanical aptitude with a foundational understanding of plumbing and electrical systems.
In-depth understanding of pool chemicals, safe handling, and water circulation dynamics.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, perform heavy lifting, and handle repetitive bending and kneeling.
