Job Summary
- Primarily responsible for the accounting & financial activities of the company in accordance with company policies and relevant accounting standards. This includes:

- Reviewing, examining and interpreting of financial records and transactions;
- Technical accounting analysis and application thereof;
- Producing accurate trial balances for all divisions (franchise and equity operations);
- Reconciling and analyzing of general accounts and producing meaningful financial reports to be used by management.
- Responsible for internal & external financial business reporting requirements in line with strict timelines to accurately reflect the organizations’ financial performance, assets & liabilities.
- Ensure accounting and internal control best practices & continuously enhance the efficiency of financial systems and financial reporting.
- Building meaningful relationships with users of financial information, company bankers and auditors.
Qualifications/Competencies/Skills required:
- B Com Accounting Honours - CA (SA)
- 3 to 5 years in fast paced environment
- Strong analytical & end-to-end reporting skill
- Strong technical accounting acumen (US GAAP; IFRS)
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (especially communication of financial information to non-finance stakeholders)
- Excellent computer literacy skills (Microsoft Suite; application of business intelligence reporting tools)
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal (must be able to translate financial accounting interpretations to non-Finance teams)
- Deadline driven; able to work well under pressure with multiple tasks on hand
- Oracle financial applications (JDE, HFM, FDM)
