Core Purpose of the Job:
As the National Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of the Labels Division. Your role will be to strategically develop the market presence by identifying and implementing a sales growth strategy. This includes cultivating sustainable growth through profitable sales, identifying new prospective target markets, and nurturing the performance of the sales team through expert guidance, direction, and mentorship.
Key Performance Areas:
Proactive Business Expansion: Seek out new and potential business opportunities within identified markets, driving the growth of the customer base.
Revenue and Profitability: Increase total account revenue and profitability, ensuring a healthy bottom line.
Customer Relationship Management: Contribute to customer retention strategies by establishing long-term relationships that foster loyalty and trust.
Technical Issue Resolution: Lead the resolution of technical issues and pricing queries to ensure the customer relationships remain strong and intact.
Team Performance Optimization: Implement and drive a mentorship and coaching strategy to ensure optimal performance of the sales team.
Sales Analytics: Track and report on key sales indicators and value drivers to steer success.
Qualifications / Experience:
A relevant tertiary qualification.
A minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in a similar leadership position within a fast-paced print or related environment.
Sound knowledge of various applications of products within the printing industry.
Familiarity with various substrates (paper, film, ink, coatings, glues, silicone, etc.).
Advanced computer skills.
Strong leadership skills.
A deep commitment to excellent customer service.
Exceptional business acumen.
Proficiency in negotiation and problem-solving.
Ability to delegate and manage multiple priorities effectively.
