The Role

Your core responsibility in this role will be to manage the end-to-end hiring process.

Responsibilities:

• Understand our clients’ role requirements and ensure that this is translated into a clear job description
• Employ recruiting methods to attract the top talent available in the IT market
• Place job ads and source candidates using databases, social media, LinkedIn, or other sources
• Evaluate resumes and applications for our client vacancies and shortlist suitable candidates
• Assume responsibility of pre-interview screening; schedule and drive the screening interview process
• Gather supporting information, conduct reference checking, and ensure all other checks (education, criminal, credit) are performed
• Ensure that all candidate related documentation is saved on the candidate database and that client database is up to date
• Communicate with all relevant stakeholders

Skills & experience

Successful candidates for the IT Specialist Recruiter role will generally possess the following:

• BSc/BA degree in HR, IT qualification or any relevant tertiary qualification
• 4+ years’ experience with IT Specialist hiring
• Understanding of sourcing and recruiting techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work with targets and be well-organized.

An entrepreneurial Christian-based organisation seeks a contractual Project Manager to fill a maternity leave gap for 5 months from 15 July to 15 December.

The position requires a person to facilitate the efficient operation of all the moving parts of the Communications department and steer projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will work closely with the Executive Communications Manager on key group projects and be collaboratively involved with other internal departments and external service providers.

The focus of the position is more on Communications Project Management than purely Project Management. The person needs to be able to not only facilitate, actively participate in and add value to the communications projects, but needs to have excellent skills in planning and executing a communication strategy. Social media and Asana experience would be beneficial.

Duties included but not limited to:

• Hosting project kickoff meetings and check ins
• Assigning tasks and responsibilities and overseeing project scheduling on Asana.
• Effectively working with many different individuals and teams, streamlining communication between them.
• Project management in terms of progress, problem solving, tracking deliverables and coordinating work between employees, teams, suppliers etc
• Juggling tasks, deadlines, resources, budgets and team members to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and according to specs.
• Collaborate on departmental reporting.

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in market or a relevant field OR equivalent experience
• Experience in Digital Marketing or Marketing is essential
• 5+ years of project management experience is required
• Experience in Asana or similar

• Packing of orders for deliveries.
• Performing quality checks when required by the supervisor.
• Minimise and eliminate packing errors.

Experience, qualifications, and skills:

• Daily Account Payables Reconciliations (trade and non-trade)
• Month end creditor reconciliations
• Resolve queries on creditor accounts
• Allocation of payments against applicable creditor transactions
• Distribution of supplier remittances
• Account allocations
• Loading payments on payment gateway
• Daily exports from T1 (Trading One trading system) to SUN Accounting System
• Counterparty registrations
• Respond to all supplier enquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Ad-hoc requests as and when required to support the AP Supervisor

Essential skills

• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Computer Literacy (MS Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
• SAP experience beneficial
