Key Performance Areas:

• Provides a single point of coordination and executive oversight for all digital initiatives and transformation projects.
• Leads the process to identify and evaluate internal digital asset capabilities and strengths
• Assesses external digital opportunities and threats as key inputs to making the best decisions on business strategy, given digital realities.
• Develop a digital business strategy and roadmap for the organisation with a view of identifying digital opportunities that will help pivot the business for new revenue streams.
• Help the business digitize their business with a view of embracing 4IR opportunities for the business.
• Develop the information and knowledge management strategy.
• Leads the implementation of the digital business strategy and roadmap and ensures its integration with the enterprise strategic planning process, and the resulting business strategy and plans.
• Ensures that the enterprise is developing the digital assets and capabilities that will be needed to survive and thrive in the midterm and long term.
• Acts as a champion and change agent in leading the organizational changes required to create and sustain enterprise digital capabilities.
• Defines and reports on digital business KPIs and metrics that represent progress against digital goals.

Minimum Requirements:

• An appropriate degree or equivalent in Information Communication Technology. A Postgraduate Degree in Information Communication and Technology /Business Management is preferable.
• MSc or higher will be an added advantage.
• 10 years’ working experience in the technology environment.
• 3 years’ management experience.
• 3 years’ experience driving digital transformation /business.
• Experience in knowledge and record management.
• Experience in strategic planning and execution.
• Considerable knowledge of business theory, business process management, budgeting, and business office operations.
• Public speaking i.e. presentations, etc.
• Professional membership will be advantage.

Our client, a major FMCG company requires an Accountant, 2-3 years post completed articles, to join their company based in Pretoria East. Experience in Importing would be advantageous.

Duties included, but are not limited to:

Entire accounting process, including:

• Full accounting function up to trail balance
• Debtors & Creditors (Invoicing , recons, collections)
• Processing from bank statements and petty cash
• Supplier invoice processing
• Bank reconciliations
• Scrutinisation of general ledger to identify outlying transactions
• Daily cash flow management and forecasting
• Inventory reconciliations
• Maintain fixed asset register ( depreciation / insurance )
• VAT reporting and submission
• PAYE reporting and submission
• Monthly management reporting and feedback
• Imports Related Accounting
• Financial Statements
• Liaise with bank and auditors

Requirements:

• BCom accounting degree (candidates with an Honours will receive preference)
• Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) - a completed degree with SAIPA articles are prerequisite
• Post article experience of at least 2-3 years required
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English.
• Own transport with valid driver's license.
• Proficient Excel knowledge
