Purpose of Role:
The Contract & Tender Specialist owns the end-to-end tender and contract lifecycle for assigned categories and customers. The role ensures compliant, accurate, and competitive submissions; disciplined post award execution; and measurable commercial outcomes aligned with LMS’s strategy and values. Success requires rigorous attention to detail, deadline discipline, superb document control, and strong cross functional collaboration with Commercial, Finance, QA/RA, Manufacturing, Imports, and Supply Chain.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Commerce
• 3+ years end-to-end tender & contract administration experience within the medical/healthcare industry across public & private sectors (provincial & national)
• Demonstrated competence in tender/contract legal & statutory requirements and public procurement norms
Advantageous:
• Exposure to National Treasury/DoH processes, NAPPI pricing, and private hospital formularies
• Experience in Online Systems: eTender portals, SAP, OrderWise, Surgicom, TenderSure/Sentigol.
