Manufacturing Maintenance Planner (SAP, CMMS), Mthatha, Eastern Cape, R Negotiable + Benefits + Company Housing
Our leading manufacturing client is seeking an experienced Material Planner to join their maintenance and engineering team.
Minimum Requirements:
✔ National Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering, OR N6 with completed Trade Test ✔ 3–5 years' experience in Maintenance Planning, Engineering Maintenance or Asset Management within a manufacturing environment ✔ Experience with CMMS systems, maintenance scheduling and shutdown planning ✔ Strong knowledge of preventative, corrective and statutory maintenance planning ✔ Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook and planning tools)
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and schedule preventative, corrective, statutory and project-related maintenance activities • Coordinate weekly maintenance plans, maintenance days and annual shutdowns • Prepare detailed work orders, job plans and resource requirements • Manage maintenance backlogs and track PM compliance • Coordinate planning inputs across maintenance, production, engineering, SHEQ and contractors • Monitor spares availability, resource requirements and shutdown readiness • Maintain accurate CMMS records and maintenance history • Compile planning, backlog, compliance and shutdown reports
