Job Summary
Position: Maintenance ForemanHire Resolves client is currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Foreman to join their team in Eston, KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in maintenance management and a strong understanding of maintenance processes and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities in accordance with production schedules and budget constraints
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure work is completed efficiently and effectively
- Conduct regular inspections and create maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, and develop solutions to prevent future problems
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialised maintenance tasks
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Foreman or similar role
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Leadership and supervisory skills to effectively manage a team
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders
- Qualifications in maintenance management or a related field preferred
