We are looking for an experienced Group Financial Manager to lead the Group’s tax, statutory and finance-related compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
Reporting to the Group CFO, this role will establish a consistent Group-wide framework for managing tax and compliance risks, while working closely with regional finance teams, local management, advisers, auditors, legal counsel and operational teams.
A key initial focus will be the integration of the Group’s entities, aligning tax policies, transfer pricing, indirect taxes, statutory compliance and supporting documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the Group tax governance framework and compliance calendar.
Manage the Group tax-risk register and ensure material issues are identified, monitored and escalated.
Oversee corporate income tax, VAT/GST, withholding taxes and other indirect taxes across jurisdictions.
Lead transfer-pricing policy, documentation and intercompany arrangements.
Oversee customs, import/export duties, bonded facilities and customer-duty compliance.
Coordinate tax audits, authority enquiries and relationships with external advisers.
Review tax provisions, deferred tax, uncertain tax positions and related financial reporting.
Coordinate statutory accounts, tax filings, company-secretarial requirements and other regulatory obligations.
Support acquisitions, integration, restructuring and purchase price allocation from a tax and compliance perspective.
Identify and manage permanent-establishment, cross-border payment, financing and repatriation risks.
Strengthen finance-related controls, including exchange control, intercompany funding and approval processes.
Provide technical guidance and training to regional and country finance teams.
Prepare clear tax and compliance reporting for the Group CFO, Exco, Audit Committee and Board.
Qualifications
Qualified Chartered Accountant, tax professional or equivalent internationally recognised qualification.
Formal tax qualification advantageous.
Experience
Significant post-qualification experience in international tax, finance compliance or a combined tax/finance role.
Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and with decentralised finance teams.
Strong knowledge of corporate tax, transfer pricing, VAT and withholding taxes.
Exposure to customs, bonded facilities, manufacturing or international supply chains advantageous.
Experience in M&A, integration, restructuring or acquisition accounting beneficial.
Experience managing external advisers and tax authorities.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of international tax and transfer pricing.
Good knowledge of VAT/GST, withholding taxes and customs.
Familiarity with IFRS, particularly IAS 12 and IFRS 3.
Strong financial controls, statutory reporting and audit knowledge.
Ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical business processes.

Establish a complete Group tax, statutory and compliance risk map.
Implement a Group-wide tax governance framework and compliance calendar.
Develop and implement the Group transfer-pricing policy and intercompany agreements.
Strengthen VAT, withholding-tax, customs and customer-duty controls.
Address historical tax and compliance risks identified through integration and due diligence.
Review acquisition financing, deferred tax, tax reserves and cash-repatriation arrangements.
Assess permanent-establishment and other cross-border tax risks.
Establish central registers for tax filings, statutory obligations, licences, audits and material exposures.
Review the performance and suitability of local advisers.
Develop the longer-term Group tax and compliance operating model.
