Job Summary
The ideal candidate will ensure the operational reliability of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems within the production plant. Responsibilities include performing preventative and corrective maintenance—such as lubrication, cleaning, repairs, and installations—on various equipment to minimize downtime and maintain 97% plant uptime. The role also involves daily inspections, calibration of weighing equipment, and adherence to safety and 5S standards. The successful candidate will support maintenance planning, document activities, manage spare parts, and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to drive continuous improvement in efficiency and reliability. Additional duties include maintaining lighting systems, utilities, and laboratory equipment such as generators and transformers.
Minimum requirements include a Trade Test (Millwright/Electrical), an N3 or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, and at least two years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Candidates must demonstrate strong knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance, Siemens PLC systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic operations. Key skills include technical troubleshooting, RCA application, teamwork, communication, and basic computer literacy. Immediate availability is an advantage.
