Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal operation, maintenance, and repair of plant machinery within a fast-paced production environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualified and trade tested Millwright or Fitter
- Minimum of 1 year’s post-trade experience in a manufacturing environment
- Sound knowledge of electrical work (fault finding, basic electrical maintenance)
- Willingness and ability to work day and night shifts
- Experience within a manufacturing / production environment is essential
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Minimise downtime and ensure production targets are met
- Adhere to health, safety, and quality standards
- Work collaboratively with production and technical teams
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Hands-on, proactive, and reliable
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding ability
- Comfortable working under pressure in a shift-based environment
