Effective Financial Management • Secure and manage sufficient financial resources to facilitate business development or expansion. • Conduct opportunity viability assessments. • Develop and achieve financial objectives for the business unit, aligned to the Regional and Group • targets. • Participate in business planning and budgeting processes and manage nursing costs according to budget. • Manage stock utilization and drive product management processes within unit together with • relevant stakeholders. • Ensure staff are trained on the operation of equipment within the units and together with relevant stakeholders ensure equipment is in working order to provide a safe patient environment.
Effective leadership and People Management • Provide senior management support across the operational level as well as support to strengthen • doctor-relations. • Demonstrate visible leadership in respect, operating model, Nursing strategy and image of the profession, actively sponsor employee engagement initiatives and projects to ensure continued and improved productivity. • Drive and manage all people related processes within the group. • Apply appropriate control measures for effective management arising from process and activities of clinical operations. • Build good personal and working relationships and networks establishment with key stakeholders. • Manage Clinical operations performance and staff within an environment conducive to good performance and company culture and ethics.
Operational Delivery • Participate in the development of a nursing/clinical, operations strategy and facilitate the implementation thereof in the respective regions. • Initiate and implement operational activities of the business units aimed at delivering best patient • experience, • Best outcomes; most cost effective; whilst ensuring that employees remain engaged. • Ensure best and safest patient care. • Identify and manage theatre efficiencies within the hospitals. • Management of hospitals within policy and protocols guidelines. • Ensure operational efficiency with hospitals. • Drive the implementation of strategy in the hospitals. • Provision of sound management support to hospital teams. • Active oversight of hospital activities and optimal levels of engagement. • Contribute to policy and procedure update or creation to support the organisation's Clinical and Operational Governance structure. • Resolve operational conflicts. • Set achievable yet challenging delivery targets/objectives and motivate the team to operate in a mutually supportive manner to ensure successful delivery. • Evaluate, enhance, and implement processes and systems to improve profitability, effectiveness, and organisational risk. • Analyse, assess, and manage clinical outcomes and risks. •Build Stakeholder Relationship • Work effectively and co-operatively with others to establish and maintain good working relationships that are mutually beneficial. • Effective management and communication between stakeholders, including but not limited to doctors, medical aids, staff, management, and patients. • Display a professional attitude when responding to potential business partner's requirements. • Maintain customer intimacy through building relationships with doctors and external providers to build patient loyalty. • Be a brand ambassador and represent the group by attending networking and industry events. • Ensure broad communication to members of the community, local interest groups, industrial associations, and the media in relation to promote the business unit and the services provided. • Maintain active participation and membership in networking with organizations. • Doctor-stakeholder relationship management. • Ensure excellent patient service journey.
