We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with legal research, document preparation, client correspondence, and other administrative and legal support tasks, while gaining practical experience in a professional legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with preparation of legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings.
- Support case management and maintain accurate case files.
- Draft and proofread legal documents, letters, and reports.
- Assist with client communications and administrative tasks as required.
- Attend court proceedings and client meetings as necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics at all times.
Requirements:
- LLB Degree (mandatory).
- Must be based in or around the East Rand.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
