Automotive Parts Sales Representative

OverviewOur client, an established automotive parts business in Worcester, Western Cape, is looking for a driven and knowledgeable Automotive Parts Sales Representative to grow sales and strengthen customer relationships across the region. The successful candidate will combine solid technical knowledge of automotive parts with strong sales and customer service ability, serving workshops, fleet operators, retail customers and trade accounts.
ResponsibilitiesPromote and sell automotive parts and components to workshops, fleet operators, trade accounts and retail customers
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Worcester area and surrounding Boland region
Visit and maintain existing customers regularly to build strong, lasting relationships
Provide accurate technical advice on parts identification, application and compatibility
Prepare and follow up on quotations, orders and customer enquiries
Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and growth objectives
Liaise with suppliers and internal teams on stock availability, pricing and deliveries
Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs, and report findings to management
Handle customer queries, returns and warranty matters professionally and promptly
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions and pipeline development
RequirementsMatric (Grade 12) essential
Proven sales experience in the automotive parts or related industry
Sound technical knowledge of automotive parts and components
Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the region
Proficient in both Afrikaans and English
Computer literate, comfortable working with stock and invoicing systems
Self-motivated, target-driven and able to work independently
