This is a rare opportunity for a hospitality-aligned culinary leader to guide the daily execution of intuitive, wellness-driven menus—crafted in collaboration with the Creative Culinary Director and onsite Regenerative Farmer. The role goes beyond traditional food preparation and service; it’s about aligning nourishment with each guest’s personal journey, the seasonal rhythm of the land, and the fresh, regenerative produce it offers. You will lead and mentor the kitchen team while ensuring consistency, creativity, and excellence across every aspect of culinary operations and guest experience. ??? ???????????????? · Proven experience as a Head or Executive Chef in a fine dining, wellness, or boutique hospitality setting · Passionate about plant-forward, regenerative, and seasonal cooking · Naturally intuitive leader, calm under pressure, and grounded in process · Able to personalise meals for diverse dietary needs with creativity and consistency · Proven ability to manage daily kitchen operations, including staff supervision, budgeting, supplier management, stock control, and waste reduction. · Strong menu development skills, focusing on fresh, seasonal, and farm-to-table ingredients while maintaining budget and food cost efficiency. · A hands-on leader who can motivate, train, and mentor a team. · Valid South African driver’s license. · Solid track record with contactable references. · Candidates must live local ➡️ A food portfolio must be submitted with your application that clearly displays your creativity, innovation, and attention to detail.
