A global leader in engineering and industrial automation, operating across Europe and North America, is seeking a dedicated Systems Engineer (Core Infrastructure) to support and enhance their technological backbone. Duties:
Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
Provide prompt, efficient resolution of service issues and requests
Deliver technical support both in person and remotely across the company
Set up accounts for new users and manage user access
Repair and replace equipment as necessary
Test emerging technologies to assess suitability and functionality
Potentially train junior staff members
Create and maintain comprehensive knowledge databases and user manuals to streamline support processes
Requirements:
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in systems support or infrastructure roles
Strong knowledge of client support, networking, and troubleshooting
Hands-on experience with virtualization, Windows environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft Azure
Proficiency in scripting for automation and problem resolution
Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and on-site tasks
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with the following is a plus:
Database management
