This is a senior level role suited to a commercially minded marketing professional who can operate both strategically and operationally. The successful candidate will act as the second in command to the Group Marketing Director, taking responsibility for translating business objectives into clear marketing strategies while ensuring effective execution across all channels. The role requires a hands-on approach, with a strong focus on driving direct revenue, strengthening brand positioning, and ensuring alignment across departments. Working closely with sales, revenue, and operations teams, the Senior Marketing Manager will play a key role in delivering integrated campaigns, managing performance, and ensuring consistency across all customer touchpoints. Requirements • Minimum of 7 to 10 years of marketing experience with at least 2 years in a senior role • Relevant degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred • Proven experience within the hospitality sector such as hotels, lodges, or travel related businesses • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with business objectives • Strong experience across both digital and traditional marketing channels • Proven track record in driving direct revenue and lead generation initiatives • Experience managing and developing small to medium sized teams • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work cross functionally • Sound understanding of brand management and maintaining brand consistency • Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms • Solid understanding of SEO, paid media, email marketing, and social media channels • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights • Experience managing marketing budgets and measuring return on investment • Excellent communication and organisational skills • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Key Responsibilities • Support the development of annual marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and translate these into detailed plans with clear tactics, timelines, and budgets • Act as second in command to the Group Marketing Director, managing the marketing team operationally and ensuring cross-functional alignment across all departments • Drive direct channel revenue growth through the development and execution of lead generation strategies and performance marketing campaigns • Develop and implement content strategies across digital and traditional channels including social media, email, website, print, and outdoor • Act as brand guardian, reviewing and approving all marketing materials and ensuring consistent application of brand guidelines across all customer touchpoints • Manage and coordinate integrated communication plans, editorial calendars, and content production schedules • Work closely with sales, revenue management, and operations teams to ensure campaign alignment, lead quality, and conversion targets are met • Monitor and optimise performance marketing activity including SEO, SEM, paid social, display advertising, and email campaigns • Track and measure performance against KPIs, produce regular reports, and present data driven insights to the Group Marketing Director and senior stakeholders • Manage relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and creative partners • Lead, develop, and support marketing team members through coaching, delegation, and regular performance feedback • Manage marketing budgets, monitor spend, and ensure strong return on investment across all activity Salary: On Application - DOE ➡️ PLEASE NOTE – Although we appreciate all applications received, we will only reply to those candidates who have the background and experience required.
