Job Summary
Job Purpose
We are seeking a Client Engagement OL Consultant to drive engagement with existing and new bank clients. The successful candidate will conduct outbound calls to promote product awareness, support app navigation, resolve client queries, and identify upselling opportunities where applicable. The role also includes client retention (conservation) for clients wishing to close their accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to new and existing clients
- Engage with clients via telephone, email, and WhatsApp callbacks
- Educate clients on banking products, rewards, and digital services
- Assist clients with navigating the banking app
- Identify and execute upsell opportunities based on client eligibility
- Retain clients who intend to close their accounts (conservation calls)
- Maintain accurate records, call logs, and campaign statistics
- Ensure all queries are resolved or escalated appropriately
- Meet service level agreements and quality standards
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Financial Degree (FAIS-accredited qualification advantageous)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Sales ability and client engagement experience
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment
