Outbound Insurance Sales Consultant (Financial Services Sector)
About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for motivated, target-driven Sales Consultants to join a growing telesales team within the financial services and insurance sector on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct outbound sales calls and engage customers via telephone, WhatsApp, SMS, and email.
Promote financial products, identify customer needs, and close sales.
Meet weekly sales targets and improve conversion rates.
Upsell and cross-sell products while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records and comply with regulatory requirements.
Minimum Requirements
NQF Level 6 qualification aligned with the FAIS Fit and Proper framework.
At least 12 months’ telesales experience with a stable employment history.
Proven sales performance and target achievement.
Insurance or financial services experience is advantageous.
RE5 is beneficial but not compulsory.
Clear criminal record and satisfactory credit record with no adverse judgments.
Relevant qualifications include Banking, Finance, Accounting, Insurance, Financial Management, Risk Management, and related financial disciplines.
Skills: Excellent communication, customer service, objection handling, negotiation, closing, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work under pressure in a target-driven environment.
Training: Product-specific training and sales support will be provided.
Required documents: South African ID, Matric certificate, relevant tertiary qualifications, and proof of the required NQF Level 6 qualification.
