Lift Engineer required for the Mauritian operation of a group of South-African based companies growing as a mobility solutions provider across Africa, specialising in Lift Operating.
-Diploma in electrical and electronic or mechanical engineering or Brevet de Technician or any other equivalent certificate recognised by the Mauritius Qualifications Authority
-Good problem-solving and analytical skills
-Be a good team player with the ability to work on your own initiative
- Possess a valid driving license
-Good communication skills in both English and French
-Good English writing skills will be beneficial
-Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.
-Ability to read technical diagrams
-Able to work odd hours
-Must be able to both lead a team and work well within a team
-Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- 5 years experience minimum with KONE lifts
Job description:
-Manage all on-site assembling, installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks
-Wiring of electrical panels
-Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
-Produce timely and detailed lift/service reports
-Follow all company's filed procedures and protocols
-Cooperate with the technical team and share information across the organisation
-Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
-Build positive relationships with customers
-Cleaning of equipment and workplace after completion of work
-Fully comply with health and safety rules established by the company
-Work in partnership with the sales and marketing department
