Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Developer with strong experience in Microsoft technologies and reporting tools, to join their team in Johannesburg, GP. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in software development, with exposure to data integration, reporting, and database management.Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based applications
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and Jasper Reports
- Perform data integration and reporting layer development
- Write and optimize SQL queries and database objects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements
- Maintain code quality through version control (Git) and best practices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems
- Relevant 3-year IT qualification (Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field)
- Minimum 5 years’ development experience using the .NET / Microsoft Visual Studio framework
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working with MS SQL Server
- Minimum 1 year experience in each of the following:
- Power BI integration tools (data modelling, reporting, dashboards)
- Jasper Reports / iReports (report development and maintenance)
- Git Bash / version control systems
