You’ll be working in a structured, delivery-focused environment where learning, growth, and continuous improvement are encouraged. This role offers strong development potential for someone passionate about actuarial modelling and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with data extraction, cleaning, and preparation using Python and SQL
- Support the development and testing of pricing models (including GLMs)
- Perform data analysis and basic statistical investigations
- Contribute to pricing reviews, monitoring, and reporting
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
- Assist with reserving data preparation, validation, and system implementation
- Maintain clear documentation and version control of work
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:- Degree in Actuarial Science
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in short-term insurance
- Exposure to pricing models or modelling environments
- Progress with actuarial exams
- Working knowledge of Python (data manipulation and modelling)
- Basic understanding of statistical methods and actuarial concepts
- Strong Excel skills; SQL advantageous
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and grow technically
- Ability to work in a structured, deadline-driven environment
